Finally got around to changing the CVT fluid on my 2019 Altis. Here's a step-by-step guide for anyone interested in doing it themselves. Tools needed:
- 10mm socket
- Drain pan
- 4L Toyota CVT-FE fluid
- New drain plug washer The process took about 45 minutes and the transmission feels much smoother now. Total cost was around Rs. 8,000 including fluid. Would definitely recommend doing this every 40,000 km. Let me know if you have questions!

This is super helpful! Quick question - did you do a drain and fill or a complete flush? I've heard mixed opinions on flushing CVTs.

Just drain and fill is the way to go. Flushing can actually cause issues on high-mileage CVTs. Great guide overall!
